Mutaties can't be opened because an attachment contains special characters (support 2771954)

In Self Service, when an attachment added to a mutatie had a special character in the file name (<,>, &, ¬, ^… for instance) or blank spaces at the end of the name (Document Vervanging .doc, for instance), the system didn’t allow to open the mutatie.

In order to be able to open the mutation, you first had to remove the special characters and spaces from the file name.

As of this release, this has been changed and special characters are allowed in the file name of an attachment. As a result, you will no longer receive an error message when opening the mutation.

Security improvements for Bank Account and BSN numbers

Self Service has added new features to rubricks used for the Bank Account Numbers and the Burgerservicenummers (BSN) numbers. This to improve the security of the users by disabling the autocomplete function for rubricks that contains that type of information. This way - after entering the information - it will not be stored in the autocomplete function memory and no other user will be able to see this data. This is especially important when using a shared working environment. The rubricks that are now set to not autocomplete when the users starts typing the information into the field are:

We highly encourage the system administrators and consultants to use these specific purpose rubricks when this type of information is used by the users in a form. Using other rubricks like free text (A00001), which do allow autocomplete, can lead to security issues if the information is autocompleted for a different user than the person who entered the information.

Delegations removal between managers and roles

In March 2021 the Self Service team developed an automatic functionality to remove the delegations of an employee when the contract expired. Now this automatic removal of the delegations will be applied as well to the delegations given or taken from the managers (ManagerVervanging) and roles (RolVervanging and Gebruikervervanging).
This way, when the manager's contract ends or the role ends, the delegations given to or received from other employees will be removed automatically as the user is not working for the company anymore. The role is not deleted, only the usage of the role will be removed for the employee whose contract expired.

Minimum wage changes on July 1st

Only for Self Service Beaufort

On July 1st 2021 the minimum wage has changed. Based on the new amounts provided by the Dutch Government, Self Service has updated the values for these items to reflect the changes on the monthly and weekly salary and also for the different percentages based on the age of the employees.

• Tijdens de releases op de geplande zaterdagen zijn de applicaties tijdelijk niet beschikbaar. Welke producten die dag een release hebben, melden we vooraf via onze maandelijkse berichten bij Releases.
• Op de geplande zondagen vinden de maandelijkse (security) patches op de Infrastructuur plaats. Hierdoor zijn de applicaties niet beschikbaar tussen 18.00 en 24.00 uur.
• Op de geplande dinsdagen vindt onderhoud plaats aan het netwerk. De applicaties blijven beschikbaar, maar er kunnen voor kortere momenten onderbrekingen zijn. Dit onderhoud vindt plaats tussen 20.00 en 24.00 uur.
