Problems with posting branch

We having issues posting salesorder, getting 

'Branch' is not found' or 'The branch is inactive'
 
The company have one branch that is inactive (this was the main branch) and one that is active with branch number = 1 in UI. When we run Get Branch, the number is 26 for this active branch.
We have tried to post both without branch, with branch=1 and branch=26 getting same error, not found or inactive.
When we post an salesorder manually i UI the number is 1, also when we run get from salesorder.

We are a bit lost here, can you please help?

Hi,

We've been unable to recreate this issue so far. Could you please send us an email with the companyID, details regarding how this was set up? The development team will have to take a look at the company database.

What token type is being used?

What salesOrder endpoint is being used?

We'll try to replicate this so we can investigate.
