Timeout on invoice creation

I have an issue where integration for one of our customers is timing out on invoice creation. All other endpoints we use are allright. The logic of the integration is as follows:

• Send the invoice to Visma.NET
• Visma.NET returns the invoice number
• Use this invoice number to update invoice in our system so our users know which invoice is which

The invoice is sent to Visma.NET. Visma.NET creates the invoice but the operation times out and I never get the Visma.NET invoice number therefor the integration ends up in error.
