SalesOrder V3

I can't find any information about /controller/api/v2/salesorder/{saleOrderNumber}/action/createPurchaseOrders being deprecated. However, it is not present in the new V3 either. Will this endpoint be included in V3, and if so, when? Or is the idea that this endpoint will remain in V2?
