Where can we store a reference number greater than the limited debituer (customer number) of 9-10 digit?

It must be a searchable field as this is used to refere the students. Why is the customerID not larger then 5 digits.... Is it expandable?

The customer number can be configured (during the implementation); you can choose hoe many digits are available for the customer number. My advise is to discuss this with the implementation partner for Visma.net, so they can make the right configuration.
