Inconsistent supplier number

We have encountered a problem with the supplier number. For endpoint `supplier` the number looks like this:

  "number": "50380   " // 8 characters
}

But for endpoint `supplierinvoice`, the following is returned:

{
  "supplier": {
    "number": "50380" // 5 characters
  }
}

 As you can see, spaces are not included in the supplier invoice endpoint. Why?
