Partial search not possible in Contact endpoint

For instance, if I search for contacts with “Dercksen” as a last name, then I do get all the contacts with this last name, but if I search “Derc” then I don’t get any contacts.

after doing some testing to confirm, it appears that relevant query parameters only yield data with exact string match by design. We'll check this with development team to see if this is as-intended or something that may change in the future.

Update:

It has been concluded that it is working as designed."partial search functionality" requires change in the code therefore, this has been registered as wish for improvement.
