addPurchaseOrderLines and purchasereceipts with serial no

Hi

When using addPurchaseOrderLines to add purchase order lines to a purchase receipt when the product is serial enabled results in the error

"One or more lines contain unassigned location and/or lot/serial number."

But the serial numbers can't be added unless the line is added first.

This is a real catch 22.

What is the recommended way of doing this?

Thank you, I've attached images for one serial enabled product with expire date, and one batch enabled product.

It's when we use such configuration the error happens.

Could you please share the settings of the lot/serial class so we can try it out locally?

As of now, it does not seem to be possible to do this in the way it was intended.

As a workaround, please add the lines "manually".

We will report this to the development team and let you know as soon as we have more information.
